An elegant Marais hotspot to enjoy exceptional dry-aged meats.
Description
Located in the peaceful Rue des Rosiers, in the heart of Le Marais, Le Beef has quickly become the area’s go‑to steakhouse . Housed in a historic 16th‑century building, its interior blends exposed stone, wooden beams, red velvet chairs, black tables and an open kitchen/bar for cocktails . The atmosphere is cosy, refined and friendly—perfect for dinners with friends, couples or families.
The highlight is the meat. Under Chef Daniel Renaudie’s guidance, the cuts—Argentine rib-eye, flank steak, 1 kg bone‑in rib or lamb rumsteak—are dry‑aged at least 30 days to ensure unrivalled tenderness and flavor. The meats are sourced weekly from France, Argentina or Ireland . Sauces are homemade, and vegetables and eggs come from Ruben Sarfati’s organic farm near Provins.
But Le Beef doesn’t stop at beef: enjoy falafels, breaded chicken, lamb rump or even a fish or rabbit sandwich—proof that the kitchen shines beyond red meat. Desserts are inventive and generous, rounding off the meal on a sweet note.
Its clientele includes quality‑meat lovers, couples seeking a refined setting, and groups sharing a rib-eye. Service—led notably by Chris—is warm, attentive and multilingual.
Fun tidbits: one signature sauce is cheekily named “la folle furieuse,” and a “Kabaret” space previously existed in the basement, opened by owner Christophe Soret before Le Beef debuted.
