A chic neo-brasserie where French tradition meets modern flair by Thibault Sombardier.
Description
Nestled within the Pavillon Faubourg Saint‑Germain, Les Parisiens pays homage to James Joyce and his work Dubliners, a literary nod to the site’s rich heritage. Opened in April 2022, this restaurant continues the hotel’s legacy, offering haute-bistronomy cuisine. Chef Thibault Sombardier, trained under Yannick Alléno and Marc Meneau, elevates French classics with precision and elegance.
The décor by Didier Benderli blends geometric mirrors, velvet banquettes, and Art Deco woodwork, creating an atmosphere that’s both sophisticated and inviting — perfect for business lunches or romantic dinners.
On the menu: langoustine quenelles, pan-seared sweetbreads, Paris‑Deauville vol‑au‑vent, and of course the legendary frog legs. Desserts like the oversized floating island or pistachio soufflé finish the meal on a high note.
The wine list is eclectic, featuring grower and biodynamic wines, champagnes, and top French appellations — the ideal complement to the hearty dishes.
Hours: open Tuesday to Saturday for lunch (12:00–14:15) and dinner (19:00–22:15), with occasional tea time; closes for part of August. Weekday lunch menu: €39 (starter + main or main + dessert), €45 for the full three-course menu.
This upscale yet welcoming venue attracts business professionals, gourmet enthusiasts, couples, and discerning travelers. Fun fact: Executive Chef Matthieu Pirola, a veteran of Akrame Benallal and Le Meurice, works closely with Sombardier.
In short, Les Parisiens offers a gourmet experience where tradition meets modernity in an elegant setting.
